On July 15th and 16th 2013, the 2013 annual council meeting of the China National Association for International Studies, with the theme of “The New Starting Point of China’s Diplomacy: Innovation in Concepts and Development of Practice”, was held in Yunnan University. The meeting was attended by over 80 experts and scholars from organizations such as the Policy Planning Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Guangxi Academy of Social Sciences, Fudan University, Shanghai International Studies University, Nanjing University, Lanzhou University, Wuhan University, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC, University of International Relations and China Foreign Affairs University.
