On January 12^th 2015, the 2014 annual meeting of the China National Association for International Studies, with the theme of “The Current International Situation and China’s Diplomacy”, was held in Beijing. State Councilor Yang Jiechi attended the meeting and gave a talk on the current international situation and China’s diplomacy. Deputy Director General Wang Wenbin of the Policy Planning Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the meeting and gave a lecture on the topic. Professor Qin Yaqing, Deputy Chairman of China National Association for International Studies and President of CFAU, delivered a report on the work of the Association in 2014. The meeting was attended by over 100 experts and scholars from research institutes such as the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations and Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, as well as institutions of higher learning such as China Foreign Affairs University, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, and Renmin University of China.
