October 19th 2015 marked the grand hosting of the Seminar on “The Issue of the Korean Peninsula and Major Country Relations in the Neighborhood”, which was sponsored by China National Association for International Studies, China Foreign Affairs University and Institute of Korean Peninsula Studies of Yanbian University and organized by the Department of International Politics under the College of Political Science and Public Management of Yanbian University. Invited to the seminar were over 60 experts and scholars from organizations such as the Policy Planning Bureau of the Central Foreign Affairs Office of the CPC, the Policy Planning Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC, Beijing Normal University, Nankai University, Jilin University and Shanghai Normal University as well as local government representatives. They discussed and deliberated on the issue of the Korean Peninsula and the development of major country relations in the neighborhood.
