On January 8th 2016, the 2015 annual meeting of the China National Association for International Studies, with the theme of “International Landscape and China’s Diplomacy”, was held in Beijing. State Councilor Yang Jiechi and Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the NPC Fu Ying attended the meeting and each gave a lecture on the current international situation and our country’s diplomatic work. The meeting was attended by Member of the NPC Foreign Affairs Committee Chen Xiaogong, Chairman of the Charhar Institute Han Fangming, Assistant Foreign Minister Qian Hongshan and over 100 experts and scholars from research institutes and institutions of higher learning such as the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, China Institute of International Studies, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, China Foreign Affairs University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University.
