From June 22 to 23, 2025, Ambassador Wang Shiting, Secretary of CPC Committee of China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU), was invited to attend the China-Central Asia Cooperation Development Forum and the Third Silk Road International Communication Forum held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Fu Hua, President of Xinhua News Agency, Qiu Xiaoqi, Vice President of China Public Diplomacy Association, Han Chunlin, Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan, and Sun Weidong, Secretary-General of the China-Central Asia Mechanism, attended the forum and delivered speeches.

At the parallel forum themed “Silk Road Connectivity: Building China-Central Asia Community with a Shared Future and Jointly Addressing Global Changes”, co-hosted by World Affairs Press and the Foreign Affairs Bureau of Xinhua News Agency, Secretary Wang, as a special speaker, delivered a speech on topics including promoting regional connectivity and engaged in in-depth exchanges with other participants.

During his attendance, Secretary Wang also accepted interviews from Xinhua News Agency and World Affairs Press, answering questions on issues regarding regional cooperation and the building of a community with a shared future for humanity. For more details, please refer to the video below.
