On June 27, Professor Sun Jisheng, Vice President of China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) met with a delegation led by Michael Starbæk Christensen, Danish Ambassador to China. Ma Xinyu, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Yang Yue, Deputy Director of the Institute of Asian Studies, He Gang, Deputy Director of the Secretariat of Research Center on Building a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity and Liu Ying, Director of the Russian Studies Center, joined Vice President Sun in the meeting.

Sun briefed Ambassador Michael Starbæk Christensen on CFAU’s educational orientation, disciplinary strengths, and talent-development model. She noted that CFAU is committed to nurturing professional foreign affairs personnel. She further affirmed the university’s commitment to advancing partnerships with top Danish universities and think tanks, to welcoming more Danish students to CFAU, and to deepening mutual understanding among the youth of China and Denmark.

In the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on issues including China’s foreign policy and bilateral and multilateral relations.
