Zhou Li, full-time Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of CFAU, delivers concluding remarks
In her concluding remarks, Zhou Li, full-time Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of CFAU, recalled two extraordinary UN-related moments in diplomatic history, encouraging the students to ground themselves in their posts and face the world in the future. She hoped the students would carry this precious Model UN experience with them, keep the world in heart and live up to their youth, become young Chinese of the new era with vision, integrity, warmth and responsibility, and tell China's stories well to the world with the power of youth.

This five-day conference attracted more than 500 teachers and students from nearly 70 schools across 23 provinces nationwide. The young delegates conducted multilateral diplomatic simulations around international hotspot issues, deepening their devotion to family and country, honing their competence and responsibility, and strengthening exchanges and mutual learning through the clash of views, consultations and negotiations, and document drafting.
In 1995, China Foreign Affairs University first introduced Model United Nations activities into China. Over more than three decades, these activities have provided precious opportunities for young students to understand international mechanisms and participate in global governance. The National High School Students Model United Nations Conference attaches equal importance to professional guidance and youth participation, and to ideological-political education and practical training, striving to present a high-level event for the delegates and inspiring young students to step up to their responsibilities as participants in global governance and builders of a community with a shared future for humanity.
