On July 1, the ceremony celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was grandly held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, where Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, presented the July 1 Medal to its recipients and delivered an important speech. China Foreign Affairs University organized university leaders in Beijing, representatives of youth theoretical study groups, and teacher and student Party-member representatives to watch the live broadcast together and listen carefully to General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech. Primary-level Party organizations simultaneously organized Party members to watch.

After watching the live broadcast, everyone was thrilled and greatly inspired, expressing that they would take the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech as guidance, always adhere to the original mission of 'fostering virtue through education and serving diplomacy,' strive to nurture people with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and continuously take all the University's work to new heights.

Wang Shiting, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the University, said that the ceremony was magnificent and grand, and that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech was far-sighted, profound in thought, rich in content and inspiring — an important Marxist document. All teachers and students of CFAU must take studying, publicizing and implementing the guiding principles of the speech as an important political task; fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building; carry forward the great founding spirit of the Party; keep in mind the 'five musts' fundamental requirements put forward by the General Secretary; deeply understand the decisive significance of the 'Two Establishments'; resolutely ensure the 'Two Upholds'; transform the study of the speech's guiding principles into powerful momentum for advancing work; fully strengthen the development of the Research Center for a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity and the University's 'Double First-Class' development; and strive to cultivate a new generation capable of shouldering the great task of national rejuvenation.

Young students of the University said they would surely remember the General Secretary's entrustment to young people, unswervingly follow the Party's word and the Party's path, further carry forward the spirit of the diplomatic iron army, inherit the revolutionary heritage, hone strong capabilities, and strive to become a reserve force of the diplomatic iron army in the new era.
