On June 5, 2025, Secretary Wang Shiting met with Ambassador Heinrich Schellenberg, Head of the Asia-Pacific Division of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and his delegation. Ambassador Jürg Burri, Swiss Ambassador to China, accompanied the visit. Sun Jisheng, Vice President of China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) and Ma Xinyu, Director of the Office of International Affairs of CFAU, attended the meeting.

The two sides exchanged views on China-Switzerland cooperation in the field of education and bilateral relations.
