On July 24, Hong Liang, Deputy Secretary-General of the CPPCC National Committee and Member of the Party Group of its Administrative Office, visited the Research Center for a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity with his delegation for exchanges and discussions. The meeting was chaired by Wang Shiting, Secretary of the CPC Committee of CFAU and Secretary-General of the Research Center, with Deputy Secretary Zhou Li and heads of relevant departments of the University attending.

Before the discussion, Deputy Secretary-General Hong Liang and his delegation toured the digital and intelligent exhibition space of the Research Center.

Secretary Wang Shiting extended a warm welcome to Deputy Secretary-General Hong Liang and his delegation and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the CPPCC National Committee for its long-standing strong support for the University's development. Secretary Wang introduced CFAU's educational strengths and features, the University's signature programs, and the development of the Research Center for a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity.

Deputy Secretary-General Hong Liang said that CFAU has distinctive educational features and outstanding strengths in talent cultivation, scientific research and think tank cooperation. The establishment of the Research Center for a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity has provided CFAU with greater opportunities and a larger platform for serving the country's diplomatic strategy. Going forward, relevant departments of the CPPCC National Committee can conduct more exchanges and cooperation with the University in the research, interpretation and communication of Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy and in signature programs such as the 'Model CPPCC Proposal Contest.'
