From April 28 to 29,2025, the 11th China-Arab States Cooperation Forum Entrepreneurs Conference and the 9th Investment Seminar was held in Haikou. This conference was jointly organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Peoples Government of Hainan Province, the Secretariat of the Arab League, and the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce and Industry, with the theme "Building the Five Major Cooperation Patterns to Accelerate the Construction of a Community with a Shared Future." Chinese guests including Jiang Zuojun, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference, Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Xi Guohua, Chairman of CITIC Group, as well as foreign guests such as Khalid Hanafi, Secretary-General of the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Ahmed Mustafa Fahmi, Director of the Arab Leagues Representative Office in China, attended the event. Provincial leaders including Feng Fei, Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Committee, and Liu Xiaoming, Governor of Hainan Province, also participated.

At the invitation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Associate Professor Li Feng from the School of International Economics attended the conference and served as the moderator of the thematic discussion session. Focusing on the theme of "Strengthening Financial Cooperation for Mutual Benefit and Win-Win Outcomes," he engaged in discussions with participating experts. The friendship between China and Arab countries has a long history, with fruitful economic and trade exchanges and pragmatic financial cooperation. Through these discussions, deepening and solidifying financial cooperation not only facilitates mutual economic benefits but also promotes the international dissemination of Chinas stories, contributing to "accelerating the building of a China-Arab community with a shared future."
