National Round for ICCMCC (English) 2018

 

The Chinese National Round for the 2018 International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition (ICCMCC 2018) was held at the Changping Campus of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) from March 16th - 18th. The China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) team won First Prize and Best Memorandum.

Co-hosted by CUPL and ICC, the 2018 competition attracted teams from 24 well-renowned law schools in China such as the University of International Business and Economics, CUPL, Wuhan University, and Beijing Normal University. The CFAU team was comprised of three contestants: Zhong Qingmeng, Yang Yiliang, and Wang Shufei, as well as two researchers, Zhu Sijie and Qi Jingsi from the Department of International Law. The team was headed by Dr. Jiao Yang, the coach.

                                     

Entering the quarterfinal, a newly created round this year, the CFAU team won the First Prize and Best Memorandum awards. Experts from both China and abroad praised the CFAU team’s performance.
