The second session of the "China Diplomatic Training Institute(CDTI) Local Classroom" and the Training Course on Foeign Affairs in Guizhou Province was held in Guizhou on September 4, 2017. Sun Zhigang, secretary of the provincial party committee of Guizhou province, met with relevant faculty of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Vice Governor Lu Yongzheng and Qin Yaqing, president of CDTI and China Foreign Affairs University(CFAU) spoke at the opening ceremony.

The current training course focuses on the learning and implemention of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s thought on diplomacy, the current international situation and China's diplomatic work, the Belt and Road(B&R) initiative  and China-ASEAN cooperation, overseas security and consular protection, the strengthening of the party's centralized and unified leadership of local foreign affairs work. About 180 people from relevant departments attended the training.
