While highly commending the University's diplomatic practice education, Chairman Feng also expressed the hope that young students would inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of the older generation of diplomats and contribute the strength of youth to advancing the building of a community with a shared future for humanity.

At the opening ceremony, the Laboratory for Diplomatic Negotiation Simulation and Data of China Foreign Affairs University released ArcMentis, a multi-agent AI coaching system for diplomatic negotiation (www.arcmentis.com). The system is China's first intelligent-agent coaching system for diplomatic negotiation, jointly developed by the Laboratory and the research team of the Wang Xuan Institute of Computer Technology at Peking University. Compared with other AI negotiation systems internationally, the system deeply integrates mature teaching practice, providing students and researchers with a structured interactive space. Its core value lies in empowering diplomatic education with AI technology and unifying research reproducibility with teaching adaptability, marking a major innovative attempt of AI technology in the cultivation of diplomatic talent and the teaching of simulated diplomatic negotiation in China.

During the two-day competition, young talents from universities across the country competed on the same stage, fully displaying their talents in simulated diplomatic negotiations and press statements — showing both their distinctive understanding of the international situation and foreign policy, and their thorough preparation, solid professional foundations and strong psychological resilience.
