On September 4, 2026, President Gao Fei met with Cao Saixian, Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, and his delegation. President Gao Fei welcomed Director-General Cao Saixian and his delegation and introduced the recent work of the Research Center for a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity, expressing the hope of continuously deepening cooperation between the two sides in theoretical research on a community with a shared future for humanity, policy advice, international communication and talent cultivation. Director-General Cao Saixian said the two sides will take the 2026 APEC meeting in Shenzhen as an opportunity to advance the contents of the cooperation agreement, support Shenzhen's development as an international metropolis, and jointly contribute to the cause of major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics.
