In July-August 2025, Associate Professor Li Feng from the School of International Economics conducted an academic visit to the National University of Singapore, engaging in scholarly discussions and policy research on topics including international economic and trade cooperation and global investment governance.

During his visiting scholar period, Associate Professor Li Feng delivered a special lecture titled “Global Investment Governance and China's Approach” at the East Asian Institute of the National University of Singapore, noting that the international influence of China's approach is steadily growing. Comparing international practices in global investment governance with China's approach, he highlighted that China's advocacy for facilitation is more widely embraced, its emphasis on fairness and the rule of law represents the foundation of global governance, its cooperative initiatives serve as effective complements, its pragmatic and diverse collaborations are more grounded, its practice of openness and inclusivity aligns with future trends, and its optimized business environment provides crucial domestic policy safeguards.
The National University of Singapore is a globally renowned institution, and its East Asian Institute is a distinguished think tank. This academic visit will not only strengthen cooperation with internationally renowned universities and think tanks, thereby expanding the China Foreign Affairs University's global influence, but also facilitate the effective communication of China's story and enhance international outreach through collaborative exchanges.
