On September 20-21, the 2026 China-Europe Talent Forum was held in Beijing. Chinese and foreign guests attending the opening ceremony included Yin Li, Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, Yin Yong, Mayor of Beijing, Zhai Jun, former Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Ambassador to France, and Siddharth Chatterjee, UN Resident Coordinator in China. Wang Shiting, Secretary of the CPC Committee of our university, was invited to attend relevant events.

Under the theme 'Sharing, Coexistence and Win-Win — Developing China-Europe Partnership and Opening New Horizons for Innovative Cooperation,' this year's forum brought together Chinese and foreign political figures, representatives of international organizations, renowned experts and scholars, and business leaders, who held exchanges and dialogues on topics including frontier and basic research talent cultivation in the AI era, responding to global challenges, and deepening China-Europe talent cooperation.

Founded in 2018, the China-Europe Talent Forum has become an important platform for promoting China-Europe talent exchanges and deepening practical cooperation. As a co-organizer, China Foreign Affairs University sent more than 50 student volunteers to provide volunteer services for this year's forum.
