BEIJING, June 11 (Xinhua) — Volumes I and II of 'Selected Works of Xi Jinping on Diplomacy,' compiled by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, were recently published by the Central Party Literature Press and distributed both at home and abroad.

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has keenly grasped the overarching trends of China's and the world's development in the new era, actively advanced major diplomatic theoretical and practical innovations, put forward a series of new visions, propositions and initiatives with distinctive Chinese features that embody the spirit of the times, demonstrate the responsibility of a major country and lead the trend of human progress, and led the country's foreign affairs work to achieve historic accomplishments and undergo historic transformations, thus giving shape to Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy. Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy is an important component of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, a major theoretical achievement integrating the basic tenets of Marxism with the concrete realities of major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics and with fine traditional Chinese culture, a concentrated embodiment of the governance thought of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core in the diplomatic field. It has opened new horizons for China's diplomatic theory and practice, enriched and developed Marxist international relations theory, and provided fundamental guidance and an action guide for China's foreign affairs work in the new era.

Volumes I and II of 'Selected Works of Xi Jinping on Diplomacy' contain Comrade Xi Jinping's most important and fundamental works on foreign affairs from January 2013 to November 2025, arranged in chronological order — 134 pieces in total, including reports, speeches, addresses and remarks. Volume I contains 63 works from January 2013 to June 2018, and Volume II contains 71 works from June 2018 to November 2025.

The publication of Volumes I and II of 'Selected Works of Xi Jinping on Diplomacy' provides authoritative teaching material for the whole Party and people of all ethnic groups across the country to study and implement in depth Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, especially Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy.
