On the morning of June 22, 2018, CFAU Vice-President Wang Fan met with Maxime Da Cruz, headmaster of the Université d'Abomey-Calavi, Republic of Benin. The two sides introduced their universities and then exchanged views on issues such as inter-university exchange and cooperation.
The Republic of Benin, the so-called “Latin District of West Africa,” is a country with highly-developed educational and cultural undertakings. Université d'Abomey-Calavi is the largest and most important public university in the country. Many scholars at the university have cooperated with the CFAU African Research Center and Foreign Languages Department as a part of the Sino-African Joint Research and Exchange Program of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
