On Nov. 8, 2016, Dr. Yao Yao, Director of the Center for National Soft Power Research at CFAU, was invited to meet with Mr. Lu Kang, the Director General of the Department of Information of the Foreign Ministry.

Director Yao Yao introduced the studies and practices of the Soft Power Center, especially on China’s Public Diplomacy with Chinese features and as a major country.

Director General Lu Kang was deeply impressed by the achievements of the Soft Power Center, and spoke highly of the cooperation between the Information Department and the Soft Power Center. 

They both wish to further collaborations of the two sides to connect the practices with the studies in the future.
