Biographical Statement
Liang received his Ph.D from School of International Studies at Peking University on International Politics. He was an academic guest to ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich in 2015. His main academic interests include Global and Regional Environmental Governance, the Interaction between Politics and Science, Climate Change Negotiations. His dissertation explores the historical interplay between the Climate Assessments and Negotiations in global climate politics. His previous research focused on regional governance on environment, climate Change and global health. He is currently working on sustainable development issues like cooperative architects and mechanisms in Asia as well as global climate politics after the 2015 Paris Summit. Dr. Dong has published articles in important journals in areas like international relations, environment management and public health domestically and abroad. Dr. Dong is also a research member of Center for Studies of International Organizations, Peking University.
