From April 6 to 7, 2016, the Third “Sino-Saudi Arabia” Workshop was held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This workshop is the epitome of mutual institutional cooperation. The delegation from China Foreign Affairs University was led by Vice President Sun Jisheng, and it consisted of scholars from the Institution of International Relations and Department of Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs Management. During the workshop, scholars from China and Saudi Arabia exchanged ideas and views on the following issues: Bilateral Political Relations, Regional Security, Energy, Trade and Investment Issues, and the Future of Bilateral Relations. Scholars from CFAU also shared their opinion on Deepening Cooperation within the China-Saudi Arabia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Framework and answered questions about Chinese Diplomacy, China-U.S. Relations and the South China Sea.
