To cultivate practical ability in solving legal problems, the department encourages and organizes students to participate in international law moot courts including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the Simulation of International Criminal Court Competition, and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. In previous competitions, participating students have achieved the first prize in China, the best oralist prize, and represented China in the final rounds in North America, Europe and Hong Kong.
