Director: Prof. XU Junke

The Institute of International Law was established in 1955 and has enrolled graduate students since 1977. In the past more than 60 years, there are a group of great masters of international law who have profound academic attainment and outstanding academic achievements, including Prof. CHEN Tiqiang, Prof. LI Haopei, Prof. SHI Jiuyong, Prof. MA Jun, Prof. XU Guangjian, Prof. YAO Zhuang, Prof. LIU Wenzong, Prof. LIU Huishan, etc. There are 26 members in the Institute of International Law and the current Director is Prof. XU Junke. Research centers consisted of the members of the Institute include United Nations Studies Center of China Foreign Affairs University, Center for International Business Law, Research Center for Commercial Dispute Resolution, Center for Human Rights Studies, Center for Studies on the Chinese Practice of International Law, and Research Center for Legal Diplomacy.
