The Department of International Law at China Foreign Affairs University hosted the second Youth Forum on International Law at the Zhanlanlu Campus on June 16, 2017. Xu Junke, the dean of the Department of International Law, delivered the opening speech before the forum divided into two groups.

Dr. Song Yan, a teacher of International Law, led Group A, which focused on the theme of "International Dispute Settlement". Dr. Zhang Cheng of Wuhan University, Prof. Song Ruichen of the National School of Administration, Dr. Wang Leifan of the Renmin University of China, and Dr. Zuo Si of CFAU made keynote speeches. Division Chief of the Department of Treaty and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hu Bin, Associate Professor Zhang Hua of Nanjing University and Director of the Institute of International Relations at CFAU Qu Bo commented on the speeches.

Dr. Yan Wenjun, a teacher from the Department of International Law at CFAU, led Group B, which focused on the theme of“The Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments”. Dr. Xue Tong of the China University of Political Science and Law, Dr. Huang Zhihui of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Dr. Fu Panfeng of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Dr. Yang Yun of CFAU made keynote speeches. Division Chief of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council Feng Guang, Dr. Song Lianbin of the China University of Political Science and Law and Assistant Professor Zhang Wenliang of the Renmin University of China commented on the speeches.

The young scholars were actively involved in the discussions and raised some specific issues of international law. All participants spoke highly of the significance of the forum. They expressed the hope that it would be held regularly to provide an exchange platform for international law researchers.
