Dr. ZHU Dandan

 

ZHU Dandan is an associate professor in China Foreign Relations and the head of the Diplomatic Studies Teaching Sector.

 

Biographical Statement

ZHU Dandan completed her M.Phil. in international relations at the University of Cambridge, and her Ph.D. in international history at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her main research interests are contemporary Chinese foreign relations and foreign policy analysis. Her research focuses on issues related to East Asia studies, in particular Sino-Japanese relations; and Chinese foreign policy transition in the 1980s.

Dr. ZHU teaches three main courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels: Contemporary China’s Foreign Relations (teaching language: Chinese); Foreign Policy Analysis (teaching language: English); and Mass Media and Foreign Policy (teaching language: English).

Dr. ZHU is a researcher with the Collaborative Innovation Center for Territorial Sovereignty and Maritime Rights at China Foreign Affairs University; a senior consultant with the "One Belt One Road" Institute of Strategic Studies, China Youth University of Political Studies; and book review editor of The Hague Journal of Diplomacy.
