Training Objectives
To train inter-disciplinary, practical and special talents of high quality. These talents will emerge with a firm stance on serving the national interests and have a clear political sense. They will have the ability to solve practical problems by combining theory and practice. They will have proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in foreign languages, as well as the ability to conduct international exchanges and foreign affairs in foreign languages.

Length of schooling
Three years of part-time study. The first two years consist of weekend classes. The third year is spent writing the dissertation.
Curriculum
The Master in Public Administration consists of core courses, required courses in major fields and elective courses. The core courses include Theory and Practice of Socialism, foreign languages, Public Administration, Public Policy Analysis, Political Science, Constitution and Administrative Laws, Public Ethics, and Research Methodology of Social Science. Required courses in major fields include Contemporary Chinese Foreign Relations, International Situations and Relations of the Great Powers, Foreign Affairs Management, and Public Diplomacy. The elective courses include Studies on International Organizations, English, Crisis Management, International Negotiation, Cross-cultural Exchange, and Writing a Dissertation.
