On the 19th of October, 2016, Thierry de Montbrial, director of the French Institute of International Relations was warmly received by president of CFAU Qin Yaqing on his visit to Zhanlan road campus.
Qin extended his welcome to Mr. de Montbrial on his second visit to CFAU, the two exchanged opinions on issues and topics of EU-China relations, OBOR and Chinese Philosophy. Meanwhile both expressed hopes on strengthening exchanges and cooperation in academic fields.
The French Institute of International Relations is among the most prestigious and influential independent international relations institutes in France. Director de Montbrial is a celebrated economist and international relation scholar.
