Welcome to the School of International Economics (SIE). Established in 1998, the Department of International Economics grew into the School of International Economics (SIE) in 2007, the first school in CFAU. Currently, the SIE has two departments (the Department of International Economics and Trade, and the Department of International Finance) and two research centers (China Economic Diplomacy Research Center, and the International Finance Research Center). The SIE enrolls independently 4-year undergraduates with majors of International Economics and Trade, and Finance, as well as 2-year graduates of World Economy with three focuses (i.e., International Finance, International Trade & Investment, and China’s External Economic Relations & Economic Diplomacy). In addition, the SIE jointly trains graduates of International Relations studying international economic relations, as well as PhD candidates on International Political Economics, with the Institute of International Relations, CFAU.
